Biotech / Food-Control Thriller

Forbidden Grain

Pitch Treatment

Forbidden Grain is positioned as a biotech / food-control thriller within the Aurora Design Studios original-universe library. A food sovereignty thriller about engineered crops, hidden dependency, agricultural control, and the moral collapse that occurs when nourishment becomes a governed permission system.

The public-facing version of this project is intentionally restrained: it gives a visitor enough story gravity to understand the premise, tone, and development direction without exposing private manuscript material, protected worldbuilding, unpublished outlines, or detailed invention logic. The goal is to make the project legible to a producer, editor, collaborator, reader, or future rights contact while preserving the deeper creative archive.

The core dramatic engine is pressure: a world believes it understands the rules, then discovers that the real system underneath is larger, older, stranger, or more dangerous than expected. Characters are forced to respond not only to external events, but to the collapse of their inherited assumptions. The best version of the project should avoid empty spectacle and instead use scale, technology, myth, ecology, or social conflict to reveal something human.

As a website page, this folder now functions as the project’s public pitch bay. Future additions can include a logline, one-page pitch, character gallery, treatment excerpt, concept-art wall, screenplay status, manuscript status, rights notes, and controlled sample pages. Internal source documents should remain in the private writing library until the project reaches a stable release phase.

Website Expansion Path

Next passes should add project-specific visual identity, controlled excerpts, tighter loglines, and clearer adaptation format: novel, screenplay, limited series, anthology, nonfiction, or franchise bible. This prevents the root index from becoming a dumping ground and gives each world its own expandable home.

Status: Public pitch-treatment layer · Full manuscripts, outlines, bibles, and technical files remain internal until selected release.
